Production protocol
Eggs are hatched in dechlorinated tap water and larvae are reared under controlled conditions of 350-400 larvae per 1.5-2 liters and fed with shrimp pellets (NovoPrawn®) everyday until pupae instar. Adults are kept in cages at 26°±1°C with a 14h:10h light: dark cycle, 80% relative humidity, and supplied with a 10% honey solution.
