Production protocol
Wild samples will be collected in New Caledonia to produce eggs of this vector species.
A minimum of 300 larvae will be collected from different breeding sites within a radius of 100 m. The collection area will be determined in agreement with the user. Larvae will be morphologically identified and raised to adult in the insectaries of IPNC. Eggs from a minimum of 3 ovipositions will be produced from the adults raised from wild larvae. Eggs will be collected and dried on filter paper.
